Forbidden guitarist Craig Locicero (who is now in Dress The Dead and The Boneless Ones) had recently spoke to James from the That Metal Interview Podcast about the current status of the legendary Bay Area thrash metal band, which has been on hiatus for over half a decade. Formed in 1985 as Forbidden Evil, they released only five studio albums, the most recent being 2010’s Omega Wave.
Locicero confirmed that Forbidden has not broken up and he doesn’t rule out the possibility of working with vocalist Russ Anderson and bassist Matt Camacho again, but added that the process of bringing the band back together would be difficult, due to its members pursuing different endeavors. Craig also went on to say that if a Forbidden reunion ever does happen, they would have do shows only occasionally.
