Το venue έχει γεμίσει αρκετά και οι Vomit Forth είναι οι πρώτοι που θα ανέβουν στη σκηνή. Με έδρα τους το Κονέκτικατ, οι Vomit Forth συνδυάζουν hardcore και death metal ήχους και γενικά είναι γνωστόι για τους μουσικούς τους πειραματισμούς. Έμειναν στην σκηνή κάπου στα 25 λεπτά και σάρωσαν τα πάντα όλα.

Παραμορφωμένοι ήχοι κιθάρας και blast beats με τον τραγουδιστή των Vomit Forth, Kane Gelaznik, να γρυλίζει σαν δαίμονας ενώ δεν σταμάτησε στιγμή να επικοινωνεί με το κοινό αφού που τον έχανες που τον έβρισκες ήταν κολλημένος στο κιγκλίδωμα του photo pit. Με ένα έντονο και βάναυσο setlist, το κουαρτέτο απο το Κονέκτικατ ήταν καταιγιστικό και επάξια εισέπραξε πολλά και ενθουσιώδη χειροκροτήματα.

Και αφού οι Vomit Forth ζέσταναν αυτιά αλλά και αυχένες, έχουν σειρά οι 200 Stab Wounds από το Κλίβεναντ, οι οποίοι έρχονται με full old-school death metal διάθεση, αλλά με το δικό τους μοναδικό στυλ. Η αλήθεια είναι πως ενώ τους είχα ακουστά σαν όνομα, ήταν η πρώτη μου επαφή μαζί τους και θα ομολογήσω πως εξεπλάγην ευχάριστα.

Με μία μοναδική φρεσκάδα οι 200 Stab Wounds μας χάρισαν ατόφιο old school death metal και έκαναν μία εκπληκτική εμφάνιση. Ένα πολύ δυνατό live και από τα τέσσερα μέλη της μπάντας, τεχνικά άρτιο…ένα αδυσώπητο μπαραζ καταιγιστικών riffs (Raymond Macdonald), με θυελλώδη ανεμοδαρμένα τύμπανα (Owen Pooley) και μπάσο-παλμό (δε νομίζω πως είδα όλοκληρο το προσωπο του μπασίστα καθ’ολη τη διάρκεια του live – Ezra Cook) και με τον frontman της μπάντας, Steve Buhl, να δίνει ό,τι έχει να προσφέρει επάνω στη σκηνή.

Οι 200 Stab Wounds πρόσφατα υπέγραψαν στην Metal Blade records και νομίζω πως έχουν αρχίσει την ανοδική τους πορεία με αστραπιαία ταχύτητα. Τους ευχαριστήθηκα όσο δεν πάει και σας τους συνισώ ανεπιφύλακτα αν είστα φαν του old school death metal με μία δόση φρεσκάδας.

Και όσο η βραδιά προχωράει τόσο η ατμόσφαιρα ζεσταίνεται και ζωντανεύει! Σείρα έχουν οι φοβεροί Signs of the Swarm, με πολύ μεγάλο ποσοστό απ’το κοινό να είναι εδώ για να δει τους Αμερικανούς deathcor-άδες που αυτή τη στιγμή βρίσκονται, και επάξια, στο ανφάν γκατέ της deathcore. Οι Signs of the Swarm είναι ένα γνωστό ασταμάτητο θηρίο που συνδυάζει death metal αγριότητα με death defying breakdowns και φωνητικά και αυτή την συγχρονισμένη ρυθμική πολυπλοκότητα …και μένει να δούμε αν live όλο αυτό συνεχίζει να είναι όσο εξαιρετικά άρτιο όσο είναι και ηχογραφημένο.

Με την πλειονότητα των τραγουδιών να προέρχονται από το Amongst The Low & Empty του 2023, οι Signs of the Swarm έχουν πάρει φωτιά με τον frontman τους David Simonich να σαρώνει την σκήνη, να ανεβαίνει το κιγκλίδωμα του photo pit σχεδόν σε κάθε τραγούδι, όντας το συνώνυμο της ενέργειας, με μία πάρα πολύ επιβλητική σκηνική παρουσία και με ένα φωνητικό εύρος που ήταν εντυπωσιακό σε όλα τα επίπεδα.

Εξίσου εντυπωσιακός ήταν και ο Michael Cassese στο μπάσο. Άλλη μία ανελέητη πηγή ενέργειας, με μία εκπληκτική εμφάνιση, από την πρώτη εως και την  τελευταία νότα. Αδύνατον να μην παραδοθείς στην ρυθμική του εξουσία και δύναμη.

Φυσικά δεν έλειψαν brutal riffs, ασφυκτικά slams, σκληροπυρηνικά beat-downs και ισχυρά κιθαριστικά σόλο…δηλαδή ό,τι ακριβώς θα περίμενες από μία μπάντα του είδους αυτού, με τους Carl Schulz στην κιθάρα και τον Bobby Crow στα drums, να είναι εξίσου εκπληκτικοί, (και με τον Carl Schulz αν και μόνιμα ακίνητο να γίνεται άμεσος και επιβλητικός.)

Η εμφάνισή των Signs of the Swarm άφησε μια πραγματικά εξαιρετική εντύπωση. Η αδυσώπητη ενέργειά τους, η ικανότητά τους να κρατούν το κοινό καθηλωμένο είναι μερικά από τα πράγματα που είναι πραγματικά υπέροχο να παρακολουθείς σε συναυλίες. Από τις πρώτες κιόλας νότες, δεν άφησαν τους οπαδούς να πάρουν ανάσα. Θα πήγαινα να τους ξαναδώ χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

Με σχεδόν 30 χρόνια εμπειρίας και με πλέον εδραιωμένα διαπιστευτήρια ως μία απ’τις καλύτερες deathgrind/technical death metal μπάντες στην ιστορία,  την σκυτάλη παραλαμβάνουν οι headliners της βραδιάς, οι Καλιφορνέζοι Cattle Decapitation. Διαβόητοι και ως οι μάστορες των άγριων και καταιγιστικών live show οι Cattle Decapitation ξεκινούν το σετ τους με το Terrasitic Adaptation από το περσινό και βαρύγδουπο/υπέροχο άλμπουμ Terrasite.

Μελωδικά hooks, πιασάρικες κιθαριστικές γραμμές από τον κιθαρίστα Belisario Dimuzio πάνω σε mid-tempo ρυθμό από τον μπασίστα Olivier Pinard και τον ντράμερ David McGraw. Και μέχρι να ξεκινήσει το μόλις τρίτο τραγούδι της βραδιάς, Scourge of the Offspring, το pit έχει ήδη ζεσταθεί και το headbanging καλά κρατεί, με τον Travis Ryan να μας καθηλώνει με τον απίστευτο έλεγχο της φωνής του και την κιθάρα του Josh Elmore να ουρλιάζει για έλεος.

Ακολουθεί βουτιά σε ένα πολύ αγαπημένο κομμάτι των οπαδών από το Monolith of Humanity του 2012, με το Dead Set Οn Suicide να στέλνει το πιτ σε μια ξέφρενη μεταλλική έκσταση, και με τον Ryan να συνεχίζει να σε κάνει να πιστεύεις πως είναι πανεύκολο να ανεβοκατεβαίνεις απο τα ψηλά στα χαμηλά φωνητικά του είδους και με τον εκπληκτικά ακριβή έλεγχο της φωνής του να έχει αφήσει εμένα σε έκσταση.

Σε γενικές γραμμές το σετ των Cattle Decapitation ήταν τραβηγμένο πιο πολύ από το τέλος της δισκογραφίας τους, και ιδιαίτερα από τα δύο τελευταία άλμπουμ με We Eat Our Young, The Storm Upstairs, Bring Back The Plague, Finish Them και Time’s Cruel Curtain να ενσταλάζουν αυτόν τον γλυκό μηδενιστικό φόβο στη ψυχή μας, αφού μας περιγράφουν όχι μόνο στιχουργικά αλλά και εκτελεστικά με πολύ ζωντανό τρόπο τον αυτοεπιβαλλόμενο κανιβαλιστικό θάνατο της ανθρωπότητας. Τα Dead Set On Suicide, Mammals In Babylon και Pacific Grim ήταν μια βουτιά στην εξίσου στοιβαρή ιστορία των Cattle Decapitation.

Ήταν ένα live το οποίο επιβεβαιώσε πως οι Cattle Decapitation εξακολουθούν να θέτουν νέα πρότυπα στο ακραίο metal όχι μόνο στο στούντιο αλλά και ζωντάνα με κάθε μέλος της μπάντας να παίζει σε ένα υψηλό επίπεδο χωρίς να καπελώνει ο ένας τον άλλον. Υπάρχει μια αυθεντικότητα στην απόδοσή τους που υποδηλώνει την ειλικρινή έκφραση της προσωπικής και συλλογικής μουσικής πεποίθησης τους, αλλά και την καθαρόαιμη ποιότητα και αξία τους στο είδος τους.

A death metal/deathcore fever was raised on March 11 at Reds Bar of Northumbria University Student Union, here in exotic Newcastle upon Tyne on the occasion of Cattle Decapitation’s concert together with Signs of the Swarm, 200 Stab Wounds and Vomit Forth. I had the pleasure of being there and enjoy all four bands and of course here I will share with you what exactly happened in there!

The venue is quite full and Vomit Forth are the first to take the stage. Based in Connecticut, Vomit Forth combine hardcore and death metal sounds and are generally known for their musical experimentation. They stayed on stage somewhere around 25 minutes, and swept everything. Distorted guitar sounds and blast beats with Vomit Forth’s vocalist, Kane Gelaznik, growling like a demon while never stopping for a moment to communicate with the crowd since you would often find him on the photo pit railing. With an intense and brutal setlist, the Connecticut quartet was thunderous and deservedly received a lot of enthusiastic applause.

And after Vomit Forth warmed ears and necks, it’s the turn of 200 Stab Wounds from Cleveland, who come with full old-school death metal mood, but with their own unique style. Truth be told, while I had heard of them as a name, this was my first exposure to them and I’ll admit I was pleasantly surprised.

With a unique freshness, 200 Stab Wounds gave us pure old school death metal and put on an amazing performance. A very strong live performance from all four members of the band, technically sound…a relentless barrage of thunderous riffs (Raymond Macdonald), with stormy wind-driven drums (Owen Pooley) and bass-pulsing (I don’t think I saw the bassist’s whole face during the whole show – Ezra Cook) and with the band’s frontman, Steve Buhl, giving his best on stage.

200 Stab Wounds recently signed to Metal Blade records and I think they have started their upward trajectory with lightning speed. I enjoyed them thoroughly and highly recommend them if you’re a fan of old school death metal with a dash of freshness.

And as the evening continues, the atmosphere gets warmer and livelier! The awesome Signs of the Swarm take the stage, with a very large percentage of the audience here to see the American deathcor-ers who are currently, and rightfully, in the VIP lounge of deathcore. Signs of the Swarm are a renowned unstoppable beast that combines death metal ferocity with death defying breakdowns and vocals alongside with this obscurely synchronized rhythmic complexity … and it remains to be seen if live it all continues to be as outstanding as it is recorded.

With the majority of the songs taken from 2023’s Amongst The Low & Empty, Signs of the Swarm were fire on stage, with frontman David Simonich sweeping the stage, climbing the photo pit railing on almost every song, being synonymous with energy, with a very, very commanding stage presence and with a vocal range that was impressive on all levels.

Equally impressive was Michael Cassese on bass. Another relentless source of energy, with a stunning performance, from the first to the last note. Impossible not to surrender to his rhythmic authority and power.

Of course there was no shortage of brutal riffs, suffocating slams, hard-hitting beat-downs and powerful guitar solos…which is exactly what you’d expect from a band of this genre, with Carl Schulz on guitar and Bobby Crow on drums being equally amazing, (with Carl Schulz, being mostly still, however able to still be imminent and compelling.)

Signs of the Swarm’s performance left a truly outstanding impression. Their relentless energy, their ability to keep the audience engaged are some of the things that are really great to watch in concert. From the very first notes, they didn’t let the fans catch their breath. I would go see them again without a second thought.

With almost 30 years of experience and with now established credentials as one of the best deathgrind/technical death metal bands in history, the baton is passed on to the headliners of the night, Californians Cattle Decapitation. Notorious as the masters of wild and thunderous live shows, Cattle Decapitation start their set with Terrasitic Adaptation from last year’s heavyweight/superb album Terrasite.

Melodic hooks, catchy guitar lines from guitarist Belisario Dimuzio over a mid-tempo beat from bassist Olivier Pinard and drummer David McGraw. Until only the third song of the night begins, Scourge of the Offspring, the pit has already warmed up and the headbanging is well underway, with Travis Ryan captivating us with his incredible vocal control and Josh Elmore’s guitar screaming for mercy.

This is followed by a dive into a fan favourite track from 2012’s Monolith of Humanity, with Dead Set On Suicide sending the pit into a frenzied metallic trance, and with Ryan continuing to make you think it’s a breeze to go from high to low vocals in the genre, and with his surprisingly precise voice control being able to leave you in a trance.

Overall Cattle Decapitation’s set was drawn more from the end of their discography, and particularly from their last two albums with We Eat Our Young, The Storm Upstairs, Bring Back The Plague, Finish Them and Time’s Cruel Curtain instilling that sweet nihilistic fear in our souls as they describe, not only lyrically but also performatively, in a very vivid way the self-imposed cannibalistic death of humanity. Dead Set On Suicide, Mammals In Babylon and Pacific Grim were a dive into the equally haunting music history of Cattle Decapitation.

It was a show that confirmed that Cattle Decapitation continues to set new standards in extreme metal not only in the studio but also live with every member of the band playing at a high level without hating on each other. There is an authenticity to their performance that suggests a sincere expression of their personal and collective musical conviction, but also a pure quality and value in their genre.

After 11 years of recording absence, CRYPTOPSY return with a new album. The title of this, As Gomorrah Burns and is due out on September 8th via Nuclear Blast Records.

In anticipation of the new release, the band has posted the first single/video clip for the track In Abeyance.

The band’s frontman Matt McGachy commented:

“I’m excited to finally unveil As Gomorrah Burns. It’s an album that we have been crafting for the past five years. A meticulous endeavor that we are proud of. It’s the perfect medley of oldschool CRYPTOPSY with a few modern twists. We’ve leaned heavily into the grooves and let some of the riffs breathe just a little more than we have on the past few releases. I’m really stoked about the new era of CRYPTOPSY.

In Abeyance’ is conceptually about feeling isolated while being submerged in a new environment. The hunt for a sense of belonging while mourning a previous life. Musically, it’s a slap in the face. It’s a banger that appears to be straightforward yet remains ultra complex”.

New single for Danish death metallers IOTUNN. Mistland, as it is titled, is the first sample from their upcoming, currently untitled, second album.

The single/video clip was recorded at Fascination Street Studios last February with Jens Bogren of course handling the production/mix and master.

The artwork as well as the video was done by Costin Chiorean, known for his work with bands like GHOST and OPETH among others.

Το νέο του death metal σχήμα φέρει το όνομα ASINHELL και μας συστήνεται με το πρώτο τους single Fall Of The Loyal Warrior.

Σε πρόσφατες δηλώσεις του σχετικά με το πρώτο τους single, ο Poulsen είπε τα εξής:

“Είμαστε πολύ ενθουσιασμένοι που μοιραζόμαστε το πρώτο δείγμα των ASINHELL με το Fall of the Loyal Warrior. Το τραγούδι είναι ένα είδος φόρου τιμής στις μπάντες που αγαπώ, όπως οι BOLT THROWER, ENTOMBED, AUTOPSY,GRAVE και DARKTHRONE. Είναι ο λόγος για τον οποίο μπορούμε να το κάνουμε αυτό εξ αρχής και είμαστε περήφανοι που φοράμε τις επιρροές μας στο μανίκι μας. Το άλμπουμ είναι εμπνευσμένο από το old school death metal των τελών της δεκαετίας του ’80 και των αρχών της δεκαετίας του ’90, και ένα από τα πιο φωτεινά σημεία έμπνευσής μας ήταν οι πανίσχυροι DEATH, με μπροστάρη τον θρυλικό Chuck Schuldiner. Υπάρχουν πολλοί DEATH εκεί μέσα. Ο Schuldiner είναι ένας από τους αγαπημένους μου death metal τραγουδιστές, ο άλλος είναι ο τραγουδιστής μας Marc Grewe. Έτσι για μένα, αυτό το τραγούδι είναι ο συνδυασμός δύο αγαπημένων μου. Let the metal flow, όπως θα έλεγε και ο Chuck”.

Οι ASINHELL αποτελούνται από τον Michael Poulsen στις κιθάρες, τον Mark Grewe των INSIDIOUS DISEASE στη φωνή και τον Toft Hansen στα τύμπανα. Το ντεμπούτο album τους, Impii Hora αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 29 Σεπτεμβρίου από την Metal Blade.

A return to the roots for VOLBEAT frontman Michael Poulsen. His new death metal band is called ASINHELL and introduces us with their first single Fall Of The Loyal Warrior.

In recent statements about their first single, Poulsen said the following:

“We’re very excited to share the first taste of ASINHELL with Fall of the Loyal Warrior. The song is kind of a tribute to bands I love, like BOLT THROWER, ENTOMBED, AUTOPSY,GRAVE and DARKTHRONE  They’re the reason why we can do this in the first place, and we’re proud to wear our influences on our sleeve. The album was inspired by late ’80s and early ’90s old school death metal, and one of our brightest points of inspiration was the mighty DEATH, fronted by the legendary Chuck Schuldiner. There’s a lot of DEATH in there. Schuldiner is one of my favorite death metal vocalists, the other being our vocalist Marc Grewe. So to me, this song is the combination of two of my favorites. ‘Let the metal flow,’ as Chuck would have said”.

ASINHELL consists of Michael Poulsen on guitars, Mark Grewe of INSIDIOUS DISEASE on vocals and Toft Hansen on drums. Their debut album, Impii Hora is due out on September 29 via Metal Blade.

Chaos Horrific will be the name of CANNIBAL CORPSE‘s new album, and is scheduled to be released on September 22nd. From the new album, the band has released the first single/video for the track Blood Blind.

The band’s drummer, Paul Mazurkiewic said about it:

“Blood Blind is about mass mutilations to reset the human race in a genocide that was embraced by the masses”.

With guitarist, Eric Rutan adding:

“Blood Blind was the first song musically that I wrote for Chaos Horrific. It all started with that funeral march of a first riff floating around in my head and it took off from there. Heavy and disturbing, it worked its way into an aggressive smorgasbord of depth and swirling darkness! I thought it would be great to collaborate so I had Paul add his lyrical stamp to it.”

Although their latest album Opvs Contra Natvram was released last September, BEHEMOTH have released a new video clip for the track Once Upon A Pale Horse.

The new video was directed by Grupa13 and the animation was done by Anton “strss893” Pavsyuk.

Currently BEHEMOTH are currently out in Europe for their The Deathless Svmmer tour.

Καθώς ο κόσμος ανακάμπτει από την πανδημία COVID-19, οι AmongRuins έχουν ολοκληρώσει το τρίτο τους άλμπουμ, την πιο μελωδική τους προσπάθεια μέχρι στιγμής, που θα κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στο 2023. “Theogonia Records is proud to announce the addition of AmongRuins to its artist roster. The quartet, formed in 2012 as a studio project between friends, has steadily evolved its sound and become a very strong live active band. CATTLE DECAPITATION have released their new single/video clip. Scourge Of The Offspring, as it is called, precedes their new album that is scheduled for release on May 12th under the title Terrasite.

The video for Scourge Of The Offspring was directed by David Brodsky with the art direction done by AI.

Legendary Death Metal crew ABORTED release the third single of their forthcoming 11th studio album “ManiaCult” set to be released on September 10th through Century Media.  For that the band also invited Joe Badolato, vocalist of Deathcore combo FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, to make the albums titletrack even more brutal.

Φαίνεται πως η Florida, έλυσε το θέμα του COVID-19 μιας και οι συναυλιακοί χώροι μπορούν πλέον να λειτουργούν στην πλήρη χωρητικότητά τους. In Florida, the COVID-19 has magically resolved itself as venues are able to now operate at full capacity. Deicide took full advantage and played a show last Saturday, April 17th at The Verona in New Port Richey, Florida.

Footage of the event shows there were few, if any, masks, and no social distancing. Plenty of moshing and fun to be had though.

Μιλώντας για μια μπάντα σαν αυτή νομίζω δεν χρειάζονται πολλά λόγια και σχόλια μιας και πρόκειται για την μπάντα που δημιούργησε ο Tuomas Saukkonen (ex-Before the dawn, Dawn of solace, Black Sun Aeon, Routasielu & The final harvest). Τα σχόλια επίσης περιττά για τους μουσικούς που τον πλαισιώνουν σε αυτήν την μπάντα μιας και μόνο τυχαίοι δεν είναι και ανάμεσα τους είναι και ο δικός μας Βαγγέλης Καρζής (Full House BC, ex- Rotting Christ).

Η μπάντα μας έχει συνηθίσει σε brutal μελωδικά μονοπάτια με εκπληκτικά riff και στοιχεία που δημιουργούν μια ατμόσφαιρα ιδιαίτερη χωρίς να κουράζει. Το ύφος στο νέο αυτό single με τον τίτλο Skull Soldiers, όπως θα λέγεται και το EP που θα περιέχεται, είναι πιο σκοτεινό και τραχύ, με αρκετό όγκο και σημάδια εξέλιξης, δείγμα και της ποιότητας που διαθέτουν ως μπάντα οι Wolfheart. Πολλά τεχνικά σημεία στις κιθάρες, ταχύτατα σκοτεινά riff, μελωδικά σόλο. Ειδικά σε αυτό το πρώτο single ξεχωρίζει η guest εμφάνιση του Petro Solovey από την Ουκρανική μπάντα Wolfanger που τραγουδά στην μητρική του γλώσσα και δίνει μια επιπρόσθετη επιθετικότητα στο αποτέλεσμα, που σε συνδυασμό με τα φωνητικά του Tuomas, θα κάνουν παλιούς και νέους οπαδούς να αγαπήσουν ιδιαίτερα την νέα αυτή δουλειά. Φυσικά ατμόσφαιρα και εδώ, που σε καμία περίπτωση δεν θα απογοητεύσει ακόμα και τους πιο απαιτητικούς τους οπαδούς.

Η μπάντα δείχνει πως έχει ανεβάσει εκπληκτικά τον πήχη και πως έχει εξελιχθεί σε ένα τεράστιο όνομα στο χώρο. Είναι αυτό απλά ένα βήμα μπροστά για την μπάντα ή ένα βήμα μπροστά για την όλη σκηνή με Leader τους Wolfheart; Τα σχόλια δικά σας. Brand new release in the form of a single came to our hands by the Finnish Wolfheart. Talking about a band such as this we don’t need to say a lotas it is a band formed by Tuomas Saukkonen (ex-Before the dawn, Dawn of solace, Black Sun Aeon, Routasielu & The final harvest). Neither do we need to comment on the rest of the musicians completing the line up within which we find our compatriot Vangelis Karzis (Full House BC, ex- Rotting Christ).

We are accustomed to expecting brutal yet melodic tracks with amazing riffs, creating a unique atmosphere that you can’t grow tired of, from the band. The sound in this new single entitled Skull Soldiers as the EP it’s going to be included, is darker and bolder, with vast sound and obvious signs of evolution, proof of the band’s quality. Many complex parts in the guitars, technically speaking, fast, dark riffs, melodic solos. Especially in this particular first single the guest appearance by Petro Solovey of the Ukranian band Wolfanger in his native language adds another level of brutality which in combination to Tuomas’s vocals will make old and new fans love this new single of the band. However, the atmosphere only Wolfheart know how to create is always there, standing higher than the highest expectations we might have had.

The band makes it pretty obvious that it leveled up to a huge name in the genre. Could this be a simple step ahead for the band, or a step forward for the entire scene, led by Wolfheart? Σίγουρα το 2021 θα είναι ακόμη πιο πλούσιο σε καλές κυκλοφορίες….

Πρόκειται για το τέταρτο τραγούδι του Glare Of Deliverance με τον τίτλο Examination. To “Examination” συνεχίζει τη διήγηση της ιστορίας της Eleanor, από εκεί που μας είχε αφήσει το “Edict“. Τη έχει η ιερά εξέταση και ο Inquisitor θέλει να μάθει την αλήθεια με κάθε κόστος.

Όπως είπαμε και στην παρουσίαση του άλμπουμ τους αυτό που ετοιμασαν με αυτή τους την κυκλοφορία είναι κάτι πέρα από τα συνηθισμένα. H επερχόμενη κυκλοφορία τους είναι μια σειρά από ξεχωριστά τραγούδια που κάθε ένα θα έχει το δικό του βίντεο/επεισόδιο. Αυτά τα επεισόδια είναι σα short film ή τηλεοπτική σειρά που εξιστορεί την ιστορία μιας γυναίκας με το όνομα Eleanor που την καταδικάζει η Ιερά Εξέταση και τώρα ήρθε η ώρα για το Edict. Θυμίζουμε ότι την παραγωγή έκανε ο Tommaso Monticelli (Jumpscare, Eternal Delyria, Geschlecht) στα Sonitus Studio, και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 4 Δεκεμβρίου2020 από την Eclipse Records.

Όπως γράφουν στο σχετικό δελτίο τύπου θέλουν να γιορτάσουν την All Hallow’s Eve με στυλ, στην επίσημη χρονιά της πανδημίας. Αυτή τη φορά κάνουν και το επιπλέον βήμα μιας και η τοποθεσία είναι στην Εκκλησία St. Mary’s Church, Colchester Art Centre, στην Αγγλία στις 30 Οκτώβρη.

Ο τίτλος του είναι Hail Of Steel και θα περιλαμβάνεται στο επερχόμενο άλμπουμ τους, “Wolves Of Karelia”, που κυκλοφορέί 10 Απριλίου από την Napalm Records.

Το “Hail Of Steel“ σηματοδοτεί τον επερχόμενο πόλεμο ανάμεσας σε μια μελωδιά που σκάει σαν κύμα πάνω σε από extreme blastbeats και symphonics.

Οι Bodom After Midnight είναι τετραμελής μπάντα και θα παίζει όλη τη δισκογραφία των Children of Bodom live, και ήδη έχουν επιβεβαιώσει τη συμμετοχή τους σε τρία φεστιβάλ στην Ευρώπη.

Η σύνθεση τους περιλαμβάνει τον κιθαρίστα Daniel Freyberg, τον πρώην μπασίστα των Santa Cruz Mitja Toivonen και το drummer των Paradise Lost Waltteri Vayrynen. Στα πλήκτρα για την περιοδεία θα είναι μαζί τους ο Lauri Salomaa

Οι Bodom After Midnight ανέβασαν και ένα teaser video για να συστηθούν στο κοινό. Θα εμφανιστούν στο Φινλανδικό φεστιβάλ  Tuska Festival, στο John Smith Rock Festival αλλά και στο Summer Breeze Festival.

Οι λατρεμένοι Σουηδοί είναι στο στούντιο για το πρώτο άλμπουμ τους εδώ και τέσσερα χρόνια. Το συγκρότημα δεν έχει καμία αλλαγή στη σύνθεση του από το 2016 που κυκλοφόρησε το Atoma, παρόλο που είχαν στην θέση του κιθαρίστα τον Johan Reinholdz (Andromeda) και Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) στις ζωντανές τους εμφανίσεις από το 2017.
