Σε πρόσφατες δηλώσεις του ανέφερε πως η μπάντα σκοπεύει να επανενωθεί ξανά για μερικές εμφανίσεις πολιτικού χαρακτήρα.

Για την ακρίβεια, ο frontman ανέφερε:
“Ήμασταν όλοι μας υπέρ του να πάμε να υποστηρίξουμε τον Beto O’Rourke, αλλά δεν μπορούσαμε να το προγραμματίσουμε. Ξέρετε, η μπάντα έχει μια ανησυχία ότι το κλασικό μας τραγούδι We’re Not Gonna Take It έχει υιοθετηθεί από την ακροδεξιά… και θέλουμε να βεβαιωθούμε ότι ο κόσμος εξακολουθεί να ξέρει ότι είναι ένα τραγούδι για όλους και ότι δεν αντιπροσωπεύει αυτή την εγωιστική μικροομάδα. Είναι πραγματικά για τους μαζικούς ανθρώπους, τους μετριοπαθείς ανθρώπους, τους ανθρώπους που θέλουν απλά να ζήσουν τη ζωή τους, να είναι ο εαυτός τους και να μην τους λένε ότι δεν μπορούν να είναι ο εαυτός τους. Έτσι, νομίζω ότι θα μας δείτε σε πολιτικές συγκεντρώσεις και άλλα τέτοια πράγματα. Θα είμαστε εκεί έξω του χρόνου”.

Υπενθυμίζουμε ότι οι TWISTED SISTER είχαν επανενωθεί, για μία και μόνο εμφάνιση, μέχρι τότε τουλάχιστον, για την ένταξη τους στο Metal Hall Of Fame πριν μερικούς μήνες.


As it seems, TWISTED SISTER are planning to return to the stage next year according to Dee Snider. In recent statements he said that the band is planning to reunite for some political performances.

The frontman said:
“We were all in favor of gonna go down to support Beto O’Rourke , but we couldn’t schedule it. You know, the band has a concern that the classic song We’re Not Gonna Take It is being co-opted by the extreme right… and we want to make sure that people still know it’s a song for everybody and it does not represent that selfish micro group. It is really for the mass people, the moderate people, the people that just want to live their lives, be themselves, and not have people tell ’em they can’t be themselves. So, I think you’ll see us at political rallies and stuff like that. We’ll be out there next year”.

Recall that TWISTED SISTER had reunited, for a single show, at least by then, for their induction into the Metal Hall Of Fame a few months ago.
