THY ART IS MURDER και Until There Is No Longer είναι το δεύτερο single από το επερχόμενο Aggression Sessions που δώθηκε στη δημοσιότητα.

Η Nuclear Blast ανακοινώνει με υπερηφάνεια το μίνι άλμπουμ 6 τραγουδιών The Aggression Sessions με τους THY ART IS MURDER, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY και MALEVOLENCE, το οποίο θα είναι διαθέσιμο ψηφιακά στις 7 Απριλίου και σε CD + βινύλιο στις 21 Ιουλίου 2023 μέσω της Nuclear Blast.

Σήμερα, οι THY ART IS MURDER κυκλοφορούν το δεύτερο single από το EP με τίτλο “Until There Is No Longer”.

Το The Aggression Sessions είναι η συνέχεια του The Depression Sessions του 2016 και ακολουθεί το ίδιο μίνι άλμπουμ με 6 τραγούδια, όπου κάθε συγκρότημα προσφέρει ένα πρωτότυπο single και μια διασκευή. Για αυτό το session, οι THY ART IS MURDER διασκευάζουν τους Cannibal Corpse και οι FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY τους At The Gates ενώ οι MALEVOLENCE χειρίζονται ένα τραγούδι της Αμερικανίδας τραγουδίστριας Anastacia.

Οι THY ART IS MURDER και FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY κάνουν την ακόλουθη κοινή δήλωση:
“Πριν καν ολοκληρώσουμε τη δουλειά στο “The Depressions Sessions” ξέραμε ότι είχε σφυρηλατηθεί μια φιλία ζωής μεταξύ των THY ART IS MURDER και των FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY και ότι θα έπρεπε να κάνουμε μια άλλη παραλλαγή του project. Η ιδέα του ‘The Aggression Sessions’ γεννήθηκε σχεδόν αμέσως μετά την ολοκλήρωση της πρώτης, αλλά χρειάστηκαν πολλά χρόνια για να βρούμε τελικά το χρόνο να το ηχογραφήσουμε και να το κυκλοφορήσουμε μέσα στα χαοτικά προγράμματα περιοδειών και μουσικών κυκλοφοριών και των δύο συγκροτημάτων. Θέλαμε να επιστρέψουμε τα πράγματα σε μερικές από τις αγαπημένες μας εμπνεύσεις για τη σύνθεση και εκτέλεση βαριάς και επιθετικής μουσικής αυτή τη φορά, συμπυκνώνοντας τον τόνο του τίτλου του EP. Ελπίζουμε να το απολαύσετε όλοι!

Συμμετέχοντας μαζί μας για τον 2ο γύρο, παρακαλώ καλωσορίστε τους MALEVOLENCE στη σειρά. Πολλή αγάπη στους The Acacia Strain, και τους ευχαριστούμε που είναι μέρος αυτής της σειράς. Τσεκάρετε και το νέο επερχόμενο δίσκο τους!

The Aggression Sessions is the follow-up to 2016’s The Depression Sessions and follows the same 6-song mini album where each band offers an original single and a cover song. For this session, THY ART IS MURDER is covering Cannibal Corpse and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY is covering At The Gates whereas MALEVOLENCE is handling a song by American singer Anastacia.THY ART IS MURDER and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY make the following joint statement:“Before we had even completed work on ‘The Depressions Sessions’ we knew a lifelong friendship had been forged between THY ART IS MURDER and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, and that we would have to do another variation of the project. ‘The Aggression Sessions’ concept was born almost immediately following the completion of the first iteration but has taken many years to finally find the time to record and release it amidst the chaotic touring and music release schedules of both bands. We wanted to take things back to some of our favorite inspirations for writing and performing heavy and aggressive music this time, encapsulating the tone of the EP title. Οι Αμερικανοί FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY μας συστήθηκαν το 2011 με το The Process of Human Extermination ως μια deathcore μπάντα. Με την αποχώρηση του Nate Johnson και την προσθήκη του Joe Badolato ως τραγουδιστή της μπάντας πια, οι Fit For An Autopsy άρχισαν να επεκτείνονται σε πιο post-deathcore ήχους και με τα επόμενα τρία άλμπουμ τους μας έδειξαν ότι είναι μια μπάντα που έχει την ικανότητα να εξελίσσεται.

Το Oh What The Future Holds είναι το 6ο στούντιο άλμπουμ των FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε στις 14 Ιανουαρίου 2022 μέσω της Nuclear Blast και αποτελείται από 10 κομμάτια, συνολικής διάρκειας 45 λεπτών μέσα στα οποία θα ακούσουμε απροκάλυπτα όλα αυτά που μας επιφυλάσσει το μέλλον, το οποίο το κρατάμε οι ίδιοι στα χέρια μας. Είτε αυτό έχει να κάνει με την πίστη, το μίσος, το περιβάλλον ακόμα και τον ιό που άλλαξε τις ζωές μας, το μήνυμα είναι ένα…”Ένας κόσμος που οδηγείται από την εξαφάνιση, καταλήγει μόνο στην εξαφάνιση”.

Από τα δύο κιόλας πρώτα κομμάτια του άλμπουμ οι FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY μας δίνουν παχιά riffs και κολακευτικές μελωδίες κι έτσι σίγουρα καταφέρνουν να κατοχυρώσουν την προσοχή μας. Συνεχίζοντας την ακρόαση η μπάντα μας δείχνει πως δεν χρειάζεται πάντα ο ρυθμός να κινείται στη μέγιστη ταχύτητα για να είναι ποδοπατητικός. Με αργό και σταδιακό χτίσιμο οι κιθάρες από τους Pat Sheridan, Tim Howley και Will Putney (που έγραψε και έκανε την παραγωγή στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος του άλμπουμ) είναι ικανές να γκρεμίσουν τους τοίχους σας, με το μπάσο και τα ντραμς φυσικά να υποστηρίζουν αυτό το κατεδαφιστικό έδαφος και τον Joe Badolato να σε παρασέρνει σαν ανεμοστρόβιλος με το εύρος του. Αυτός ο δυναμισμός όμως συνδυάζεται με συχνά μελωδικά τόξα, πολυεπίπεδα φωνητικά και “τόσο όσο” μουσικούς πειραματισμούς οι οποίοι φέρνουν ένα νέο στυλιστικό ύφος στον συνολικό ήχο των Αμερικανών.

Η ποικιλομορφία που επιδεικνύουν οι FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY στο Oh What The Future Holds είναι μία ισχυρή επιβεβαίωση μιας μπάντας που λειτουργεί σε πλήρη δημιουργικό ρυθμό και δεν φοβάται να ανοίξει νέους δρόμους, προσφέροντας μια ομοιογενή και δυνατή εμπειρία ακρόασης. Aπ’ ότι φαίνεται οι FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY άρπαξαν το μέλλον τους απ’ τα μαλλιά και εμείς ανυπομονούμε να δούμε τι μας επιφυλάσσουν από δω και πέρα.

Americans FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY were introduced to us as a deathcore band, in 2011 with The Process of Human Extermination . With the departure of Nate Johnson and the addition of Joe Badolato as the band’s vocalist, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY started to expand into more post-deathcore sounds and with their next three albums they showed us that they are a band that has the ability to evolve.

Oh What The Future Holds is FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY‘s 6th studio album which was released on January 14, 2022 via Nuclear Blast and consists of 10 tracks, totaling 45 minutes in which we get to hear overtly all that the future (which by the way which hold in our own hands) holds in store for us, . Whether it has to do with faith, hate, the environment and even the virus that changed our lives, the message is this… “A world driven by extinction only ends in extinction.”

From the very first two tracks of the album FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY give us thick riffs and flattering melodies and thus they definitely manage to hold our attention. As we continue listening, the band shows us that you don’t always need the rhythm to be moving at top speed to be foot-stomping. With a slow and gradual build up the guitars from Pat Sheridan, Tim Howley and Will Putney (who wrote and produced most of the album) are capable of breaking down your walls, with the bass and drums of course supporting this demolition ground and Joe Badolato carrying you along like a whirlwind with his range. But this dynamism is combined with frequent melodic arcs, layered vocals and “just enough” musical experimentation that bring a new stylistic flavour to the overall sound of the Americans.

The diversity that FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY display on Oh What The Future Holds is a strong confirmation of a band that is operating at full creative speed and not afraid to break new ground, offering a homogeneous and powerful listening experience. It seems FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have grabbed their future by the hair and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us from now on.

«Εννοιολογικά, το «Two Towers» είναι μια αφηρημένη ιστορία που ακολουθεί το ταξίδι του παρελθόντος και του μελλοντικού εαυτού σου και τις δυνάμεις που τους χωρίζουν», εξηγεί το συγκρότημα. “Συνειδητοποιώντας την αδύνατη ιδέα της συνάντησής τους, έρχεται αντιμέτωπος με την πραγματικότητα της αποδοχής των πραγμάτων που δεν μπορείς να αλλάξεις. “Conceptually, ‘Two Towers’ is an abstract story which follows the journey of your past self and future self, and the forces that pull them apart,” the band explains. “Realizing the impossible concept of them meeting, one is faced with the reality of accepting the things you cannot change. It’s a little out of the box for us, but it was challenging and fun to create a unique song for the record. Shout out to director Frankie Nasso and his team for the animated video that brought this story to life.”

Οι θρυλικοί ABORTED δημοσιεύουν το τρίτο single από το επερχόμενο 11^ο άλμπουμ τους “ManiaCult” που κυκλοφορεί 10 Σεπτεμβρίου από τη Century Media.

Για αυτό το τραγούδι η μπάντα κάλεσε να συμμετέχει και ο τραγουδιστής Joe Badolato, των FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, κάνοντας το αποτέλεσμα ακόμη πιο brutal.

Legendary Death Metal crew ABORTED release the third single of their forthcoming 11th studio album “ManiaCult” set to be released on September 10th through Century Media.
