Το τραγούδι έχει τον τίτλο “Shed My Skin” και όπως εξηγεί η Sharon, οι στίχοι μιλούν για τις αλλαγές στη ζωή με τις οποίες ερχόμαστε αναπόφευκτα αντιμέτωποι ακόμη και αν αυτό σημαίνει να αφήνουμε πίσω ανθρώπους που αγαπάμε. Η αληθινή εξέλιξη όπως λέει ξεκινά εκεί που σταματά η ζώνη άνεσής μας και αυτό ακριβώς είναι το νόημα του τραγουδιού. Within Temptation reveal new song featuring Annisokay called Shed My Skin.

About the song: “’Shed My Skin’ revolves around dealing with inevitable changes in life. It is about becoming the person we are meant to be, even if that means losing people we love, but have grown apart from. Real growth begins where comfort zones end and that’s exactly what the song is all about: if we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living,” – Sharon. The video also serves as a teaser for the upcoming VR event of the band set to take place on July 15th and 16th, entitled The Aftermath – A Show In A Virtual Reality’.

Όπως αναφέρει η μπάντα στην επίσημη δήλωσή της: “ Hello fans, φίλοι και συνεργάτες, πρώτα απ’ όλα πρέπει να πούμε οτι είμαστε πολύ μπερδεμένοι με την επίσημη δήλωση του Urban ότι εγκαταλείπει τους SERIOUS BLACK. Πραγματικά εκπλαγήκαμε που μάθαμε για το σχόλιό του μέσω περιοδικών και του crew μας – δεν είχε γίνει καμία συζήτηση πιο πριν. Σεβόμαστε την απόφασή του!

Είναι αλήθεια ότι η παραγωγή του «226» αλλά και η περιοδεία έδειξαν τις διαφορές ανάμεσα στο πως θέλουμε την μπάντα και την άποψή του. Αλλά έτσι κι αλλιώς δεν υπάρχει λόγος να τσακωνόμαστε για αυτό με τον Urban. Είναι ένας εκπληκτικός τραγουδιστής και μουσικός και θέλουμε να τον ευχαριστήσουμε για τα περισσότερα από 100 σόου παγκοσμίως, τα υπέροχα τραγούδια και τη δουλειά του σε 4 καταπληκτικούς δίσκους! Πραγματικά του ευχόμαστε τα καλύτερα για το μέλλον!

Extreme times call for extreme measures in the Serious Black band as their singer left the band!

As the official statement of the band says: “ Hello fans, friends and partners, first of all we have to say that we are very confused about Urban‘s statement that he is leaving SERIOUS BLACK. We were really surprised to hear about his comment via magazines and our crew – there was no conversation before.

We respect his decision!

It is true, that the production of „Suite 226“and also the tour showed the differences between how we want this band to be and his view. Anyway, there is no reason for us to fight here with Urban. He is an outstanding great singer and musician and we want to thank him for more than 100 concerts worldwide, great songs and his work on 4 amazing records! We truly wish him all the best for his future!

First: We had a talk with our label „AFM Records“ a few minutes ago. We have their full support to finish this record we are working on … we have to thank them a lot for their given trust!

26 μόλις δευτερόλεπτα από το τραγούδι Storm που θα είναι το πρώτο βίντεο που θα βγει στη δημοσιότητα την Παρασκευη 26 Μάρτη. Το τραγούδι είναι μέρος του άλμπουμ που θα κυκλοφορήσει 28 Μάη από τη Nuclear Blast.

Όπως έχει εξηγήσει ο ίδιος ο Esa τα τελυταία χρόνια γράφει μουσική που δεν ταιριάζει στο ύφος των Amorphis και έτσι πήρε την ακόφαση να φτιάξει ένα άλμπουμ με τους αγαπημένους του τραγουδιστές με τον γενικό τίτλο Silver Lake By Esa Holopainen.

A small teaser from the debut album of Esa Holopainen (Amorphis) Silver Lake was just uploaded in his social network pages.

Just 26 seconds of the song μόλις Storm which will be the first video that will come out this Friday march 26^th. The song is part of the solo album of Esa which is set to be released on May 28^th through Nuclear Blast.

I have been writing a lot of music, and some of the stuff hasn’t exactly sounded like Amorphis. When Nino Laurenne, owner of Sonic Pump Studios called me late March, I already had three decent-sounding SILVER LAKE songs in stock. These tracks, entitled ‘Sentiment’, ‘Ray of Light’ and ‘Promising Sun’, worked as the backbone for the full solo album.

At first, I really didn’t know if the album would turn out to be purely instrumental or would there be vocalists as well. However, one thing was certain, I wouldn’t be the singer of SILVER LAKE. Therefore I started to ask several friends and favorite singers of mine that joined me from their home studios on these 9 new tracks to be featured on “Silver Lake By Esa Holopainen“:
