Σχετικά με το θέμα, το Your Highness διηγείται ιστορίες ελπίδας και απόγνωσης με αισθήματα πληρότητας και αποτυχίας. Κάθε κεφάλαιο του άλμπουμ αντικατοπτρίζει την αληθινή ζωή, γις καλό και για κακό.

Έχουμε κάνει βήματα και μουσικά για να προσεγγίσουμε περισσότερο κόσμο και θέλουμε να είμαστε και η πύλη εισόδου για ακροατές που δεν έχουν ακούσει metal μέχρι σήμερα. Το «Your Highness» προσφέρει την σκληρότητα και την ευαισθησία ταυτόχρονα με τέτοιο τρόπο που δεν είχαμε καταφέρει να δημιουργήσουμε πριν. Αυτό είναι το πιο ποικιλόμορφο κατόρθωμα μας μέχρι σήμερα.

Όπως και η προηγούμενη κυκλοφορία μας “Godsend“, το Your Highness είναι ένας συνδυασμός Φινλανδίας και Σουηδίας στην παραγωγή. Το άλμπουμ ηχογραφήθηκε στο  Juho Räihä (SoundSpiral Audio), και μίξη και master έκανε ο Henrik Udd (Henrik Udd Recording Studios).

Finnish modern melodic metalers Bloodred Hourglass announce their new album and we can’t wait!

As they mention on their statement: “We are extremely proud to announce that our long awaited fifth album, “Your Highness“, will be released through Out Of Line Music on 22.10.2021. The album consists of 11 strong modern metal songs that are bound around one powerful theme: lost chances of life and love.

Around this topic, Your Highness tells you the stories of hope and despair with fulfilment and failure. Every chapter of the album reflects the real life, in good and in bad.

We have taken steps musically to reach more people and also want to be the gateway to metal music for people who may have never experienced it yet. Your Highness gives you the insight of heaviness and tenderness at the same time in a way that we have never succeeded to deliver before. This is the most versatile achievement from us so far.

Like the previous title “Godsend“, Your Highness is a combination of Finnish-Swedish production. The album was recorded by Juho Räihä (SoundSpiral Audio), and mixed + mastered by Henrik Udd (Henrik Udd Recording Studios).”

Όπως αναφέρει η μπάντα στην ιστοσελίδα της «Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσουμε την κυκλοφορία του 17ου στούντιο άλμπουμ των IRON MAIDEN Senjutsu στις 3 Σεπτεμβρίου μέσω της Parlophone Records (BMG στις ΗΠΑ). Ηχογραφήθηκε στο Παρίσι με τον επι χρόνια παραγωγό Kevin Shirley και τη συμπαραγωγή από τον Steve Harris.

Για τον Senjutsu – που μεταφράζεται σε ελεύθερη μετάφραση ως «τακτική & στρατηγική», το συγκρότημα επιστράτευσε για άλλη μια φορά τις υπηρεσίες του Mark Wilkinson για να δημιουργήσει το εξώφυλλο με θέμα ένα Samurai, βασισμένο σε μια ιδέα του Steve Harris. Και με διάρκεια λίγο κάτω από 82 λεπτά, ο Senjutsu, όπως και η προηγούμενη δισκογραφική τους δουλειά The Book Of Souls, θα είναι ένα άλμπουμ με διπλό CD / άλμπουμ με τριπλό βινύλιο.

Ο Steve λέει “Επιλέξαμε να ηχογραφήσουμε ξανά στο Guillaume Tell Studio στη Γαλλία, καθώς το μέρος έχει μια τόσο χαλαρή ατμόσφαιρα. Η εγκατάσταση εκεί είναι τέλεια για τις ανάγκες μας. Το κτίριο ήταν ένας κινηματογράφος και είχε πολύ ψηλή οροφή, οπότε υπάρχει μια υπέροχη ακουστική. Ηχογραφήσαμε αυτό το άλμπουμ με τον ίδιο τρόπο που κάναμε το The Book Of Souls, καθώς γράφαμε ένα τραγούδι, το πρόβαρα και το ηχογραφούσαμε μαζί αμέσως, ενώ ήταν όλα φρέσκα στο μυαλό μας. Αυτό το άλμπουμ χρειάστηκε πολύ σκληρή δουλειά καθώς περιέχει κάποια πολύ πολύπλοκα τραγούδια και χρειάστηκε επιπλέον προσπάθεια προκειμένου να ακουστεί όπως θέλαμε αλλά ο Kevin είναι υπέροχος στο να καταγράφει την ουσία του συγκροτήματος και νομίζω ότι άξιζε την προσπάθεια! Είμαι πολύ περήφανος για το αποτέλεσμα και δεν μπορώ να περιμένω να το ακούσουν οι θαυμαστές. “

Ο Bruce Dickinson συνεχίζει, “Είμαστε όλοι πολύ ενθουσιασμένοι για αυτό το άλμπουμ. Το ηχογραφήσαμε στις αρχές του 2019 κατά τη διάρκεια ενός διαλείμματος στην περιοδεία Legacy, ώστε να μπορέσουμε να κάνουμε όσο το δυνατό περισσότερες περιοδείες μας, αλλά να έχουμε ακόμη μια μακρά περίοδο προετοιμασίας πριν από την κυκλοφορία για να ετοιμάσουμε υπέροχο art album και κάτι ξεχωριστό ως βίντεο. Φυσικά η πανδημία καθυστέρησε τα πράγματα περισσότερο – ακόμη και για τα καλύτερα σχεδιασμένα σχέδια – ή μήπως θα έπρεπε να πω «στρατηγικές» !; Τα τραγούδια είναι πολυμορφικά και μερικά από αυτά είναι αρκετά μεγάλα. Υπάρχουν επίσης ένα ή δύο τραγούδια που ακούγονται πολύ διαφορετικά από το συνηθισμένο μας στυλ και νομίζω ότι οι θαυμαστές των Maiden θα εκπλαγούν – ελπίζω με καλό τρόπο! “

Iron Maiden have announced their new album. As they write on their webpage “We are thrilled to announce the release of IRON MAIDEN’s 17th studio album Senjutsu on September 3rd through Parlophone Records (BMG in the USA). It was recorded in Paris with longstanding producer Kevin Shirley and co-produced by Steve Harris.

For Senjutsu – loosely translated as ‘tactics & strategy’, the band once again enlisted the services of Mark Wilkinson to create the spectacular Samurai themed cover artwork, based on an idea by Steve Harris. And with a running time of a little under 82 minutes, Senjutsu, like their previous record The Book Of Souls, will be a double CD album/triple vinyl album.”

Steve says “We chose to record at Guillaume Tell Studio in France again as the place has such a relaxed vibe. The setup there is perfect for our needs; the building used to be a cinema and has a really high ceiling so there’s a great acoustic sound. We recorded this album in the same way we did The Book Of Souls in that we’d write a song, rehearse it and then put it down together straight away while it was all fresh in our minds. There’s some very complex songs on this album which took a lot of hard work to get them exactly as we wanted them to sound, so the process was at times very challenging, but Kevin is great at capturing the essence of the band and I think it was worth the effort! I’m very proud of the result and can’t wait for fans to hear it.”

Bruce Dickinson continues, “We’re all really excited about this album. We recorded it back in early 2019 during a break in the Legacy tour so we could maximize our touring yet still have a long set up period before release to prepare great album art and something special as a video. Of course the pandemic delayed things more – so much for the best laid plans – or should that be ‘strategies’!? The songs are very varied, and some of them are quite long. There’s also one or two songs which sound pretty different to our usual style, and I think Maiden fans will be surprised – in a good way, I hope!”

Οι SPITFIRE δημιουργήθηκαν το 1984 και είναι μια από τις ιστορικές μπάντες της Ελληνικής σκηνής. Το διάστημα 2020-2021 ολοκλήρωσαν τις ηχογραφήσεις του τρίτου στούντιο άλμπουμ τους και αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσεις το φθινόπωρο του 2021 σε CD και βινύλιο με τον τίτλο “Denial To Fall“.
