Update: Από σχόλια της μπάντας στην ανακοίνωση διευκρινίστηκε ότι στα cd και τα βινύλια είναι η φωνή του Cj στην ψηφιακή εκδοχή είναι ο νέος τραγουδιστής. Πριν λίγο ο Chris McMahon πόσταρε στο Instagram οτι δεν είχε ιδέα και το πληροφορήθηκε από το δελτιο τύπου και οτι αύριο θα κάνει live μετάδοση στο instagram σχετικά.

Αναλυτικά η δήλωσή τους :

“Έχουμε κάποια σημαντικά νέα σχετικά με το Godlike που θέλουμε να μοιραστούμε μαζί σας. Το νέο μας άλμπουμ Godlike είναι πλέον διαθέσιμο παγκοσμίως ψηφιακά με μια απρόβλεπτη αλλαγή – ο Chris McMahon δεν είναι πλέον μέλος των Thy Art Is Murder και δεν συμμετέχει στο δίσκο.

Καταλαβαίνουμε ότι αυτό μπορεί να αποτελεί έκπληξη και θέλουμε να σας διαβεβαιώσουμε ότι αυτή η απόφαση πάρθηκε για να διατηρηθεί η ακεραιότητα και η κατεύθυνση της μπάντας. Όσα συνέβησαν τον τελευταίο μήνα δεν ήταν η αιτία αυτής της ενέργειας, αλλά απλώς ένα ακόμη σύμπτωμα της παρατεταμένης κατάρρευσης του χαρακτήρα και της κρίσης του. Η σταγόνα που ξεχείλισε το ποτήρι αν θέλετε. Για να μην πολυλογώ, οι επιπτώσεις ήταν τεράστιες. Μας εκτόξευσε απειλές ότι θα καταστρέψει το Thy Art Is Murder εκ των έσω αν δεν συνθηκολογήσουμε με διάφορες ιδεολογίες που πρεσβεύει. Ο καθένας έχει το δικό του δικαίωμα στην ελευθερία του λόγου και στην αναζήτηση της αλήθειας του- είναι επίσης ελεύθερος να δεχτεί τις συνέπειες που αυτό συνεπάγεται.

Εκτιμούμε την υποστήριξή σας και τον σεβασμό της ιδιωτικής μας ζωής κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της δύσκολης περιόδου. Chris Cj McMahon ‘s Statement on Instagram 

In a statement that came out a few minutes ago, Thy Art Is Murder announced that they have fired their lead singer from the band because of a statement he made on Instagram a month ago. They say the new singer recorded the new album last week so the review you read on our page was of the previous recording with Chris McMahon that we don’t even know if it will be released. Here’s their statement in detail:

“We have some important news regarding Godlike that we want to share with you. Our new album Godlike is now available worldwide digitally with an unforeseen change – Chris McMahon is no longer a part of Thy Art Is Murder and does not feature on the record.

We understand that this may come as a surprise and we want to assure you that this decision was made to preserve the band’s integrity and direction.

What transpired over the past month was not the cause of this action but just another symptom of the drawn-out breakdown in his character and judgment. The straw that broke the camel’s back if you will.  Long story short, the fallout has been immense. We were lobbed with threats to destroy Thy Art Is Murder from the inside if we did not capitulate to various ideologies that he holds.

Everyone has their own right to free speech and to seek their truth; they are also free to receive the consequences that that come with it.

We appreciate your support and respect for our privacy during this challenging time. As we move forward we are excited to introduce you to a new vocalist, who finished re-recording on the new album earlier this week, and will be joining us for the Godlike European tour with Whitechapel, Fit For An Autopsy and Spite, which kicks off in a few days.

Σήμερα οι US-hardcore IGNITE από το Orange County, CA κυκλοφορούν το νέο του digital EP “Anti-Complicity Anthem” σε όλες τις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες. Μαζί με το ομότιτλος θα υπάρχει και ένα αποκλειστικό B-side “Turn XXI” που θα είναι διαθέσιμο μόνο σε αυτό το EP με το οποίο η μπάντα κάνει ένα εντυπωσιακό comeback.

The masters of melodic-hardcore are finally back! Today US-hardcore band IGNITE from Orange County, CA released their brand-new digital EP “Anti-Complicity Anthem” on all digital platforms. Including the incredible title track as well as the exclusive B-side “Turn XXI” that will be only available on this EP the band makes an impressive comeback.

On top of that IGNITE also deliver a powerful performance clip for “ANTI-COMPLICITY ANTHEM” . Furthermore, IGNITE finally announces after a lot of speculations their new vocalist.
