Οι Before The Dawn δήλωσαν για το Destroyer: “‘Το  Destroyer  ήταν το πρώτο τραγούδι που γράφτηκε για το νέο άλμπουμ και όντας η σπίθα που πυροδότησε όλη τη διαδικασία της σύνθεσης αξίζει να είναι και το πρώτο single. Το τραγούδι αντικατοπτρίζει επίσης πολύ καλά την αναγεννημένη φωτιά μέσα στη μπάντα και την αποφασιστικότητα και τη δύναμη που έχουμε συγκεντρώσει κατά τη διάρκεια των 10 χρόνων χειμερίας νάρκης”.

Με νέο lineup, η μπάντα παρουσιάζει τις μεγαλύτερες αλλαγές της μέχρι τώρα. Ο προηγούμενος κιθαρίστας και τραγουδιστής Tuomas Saukkonen μεταφέρθηκε πίσω από τα τύμπανα και ο ταλαντούχος φιναλίστ του Voice Of Finland 2022, Paavo Laapotti, ανέλαβε όλα τα καθήκοντα του τραγουδιστή, ενώ ο Juho Räihä των Swallow The Sun – ο οποίος είναι και μέλος των Before The Dawn από το 2006 – εκτελεί χρέη lead κιθάρας.

Το νέο πολύ-αναμενόμενο album των Before The Dawn, Stormbringers, θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 30 Ιουνίου 2023 από τη Napalm Records.

After 10 years of absence, Finns Before The Dawn return with their new single Destroyer, which was  released today along with the official music video, and they also announce their new album, Stormbringers.

Before The Dawn said of Destroyer:  “Destroyer was the first song written for the new album and being the spark that ignited the whole writing process it deserves to be the first single as well. The song also reflects really well the rediscovered fire inside the band and our determination and strength we have gathered during the 10 years of hibernation.”

With a new lineup, the band presents its largest shake-up to date. Former guitarist and vocalist Tuomas Saukkonen has moved behind the drums and talented Voice Of Finland 2022 finalist Paavo Laapotti has taken over all vocalist duties, while Juho Räihä of Swallow The Sun – who has also been a member of Before The Dawn since 2006 – serves as lead guitarist.

Before The Dawn’s highly anticipated new album, Stormbringers, will be released on June 30, 2023 via Napalm Records.
