Σύμφωνα λοιπόν με πρόσφατη μελέτη και γράφημα της Google, φέτος το ενδιαφέρον σε αναζητήσεις της υπηρεσίας ως προς το Nu Metal είναι στο υψηλότερο σημείο από το 2004 μέχρι και σήμερα. Σε αυτό θεωρείτε ότι συνέβαλε και το documentary του Netflix, The Chaos of Woodstock 99 που βγήκε τον περασμένο Αύγουστο και μεταξύ των συμμετεχόντων του festival που απεικονίζει, είναι ονόματα όπως οι KORN,LIMP BIZKIT και GODSMACK.

Όλα τα παραπάνω, σε συνδυασμό με μερικά νέα συγκροτήματα του είδους που και αυτά με την σειρά τους κερδίζουν έδαφος, όλα δείχνουν πως μπορούμε να μιλάμε για μία επιστροφή και αναβίωση ενός περίεργου για πολλούς είδους της μουσικής μας. Πάραυτα, δεν παύει να αποτελεί μέρος της metal μουσικής, με την δική του ξεχωριστή ιστορία.

This year found KORN celebrating their 30 years of presence in the music scene, pioneers of the genre that emerged shortly after the mid-90s and that subsequently gathered many artists under its wing. The name of this scene,Nu Metal.

So according to a recent Google study and graph, this year interest in Nu Metal searches on the service is at its highest point since 2004 to date. This is thought to be helped by the Netflix documentary, The Chaos of Woodstock 99, which came out last August and among the festival participants it depicts are names like KORN,LIMP BIZKIT and GODSMACK.

All of the above, combined with a few new bands in the genre that are also gaining ground in their turn, all indicate that we can talk about a return and revival of a genre of our music that is strange to many. Nevertheless, is part of metal music, with it’s own unique history.
