“72 Seasons,. Τα πρώτα 18 χρόνια της ζωής μας που διαμορφώνουν τον αληθινό ή τον ψεύτικο εαυτό μας. Η έννοια ότι μας είπαν “ποιοι είμαστε” οι γονείς μας. Μια πιθανή κατηγοριοποίηση γύρω από το τι είδους προσωπικότητα είμαστε. Νομίζω ότι το πιο ενδιαφέρον κομμάτι είναι η συνεχής μελέτη αυτών των βασικών πεποιθήσεων και πώς επηρεάζουν την αντίληψή μας για τον κόσμο σήμερα. Μεγάλο μέρος της ενήλικης εμπειρίας μας είναι αναπαράσταση ή αντίδραση σε αυτές τις παιδικές εμπειρίες. The 12-track, 77-minute album, produced by Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, is set to arrive on April 14, 2023, and serves as the successor to 2016’s Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.

“72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry,” comments Hetfield.
