Ο Trevor Strnad, τραγουδιστής των death metallers του Michigan THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, πέθανε σε ηλικία 41 ετών.

Trevor Strnad, vocalist of Michigan death metallers THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, has died at the age of 41.

Strnad‘s passing was announced by his bandmates on social media earlier today. They wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved son, brother, and Shepard of good times, he was loved by all that met him. A walking encyclopedia of all things music. He was a hugger, a writer, and truly one of the world’s greatest entertainers. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show.” The band also shared the telephone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Last November, Strnad shared on social media that he was having a difficult time dealing with the passing of his mother, who had “died a few weeks” earlier “very abruptly.” “Even at 40 years old, it’s still hard,” he wrote. “We were close. I feel like a lost little kid. Props to the many of you out there who have dealt with this and made it out the other side.”

Αυτοκτονία αποδεικνύεται ο θάνατος του τραγουδιστή των Metal Church, Mike Howe, σύμφωνα με όσα έγιναν γνωστά πριν λίγο.

Όπως αναφέρεται στο ρεπορτάζ του TMZ που αναδημοσιεύει το BraveWords η επίσημη αιτία θανάτου αναφέρεται ασφυξία λόγω απαγχονισμού. Σύμφωνα με τις αστυνομικές αρχές που βρέθηκαν στο σπίτι του δεν υπάρχουν ενδείξεις κατάχρησης αλκόολ ή ναρκωτικών αλλά και οποιασδήποτε ελεγχόμενης ουσίας αφου δεν βρέθηκε καμία τέτοια στο χώρο.

The sad news came down on July 26, that Metal Church vocalist Mike Howe had passed away. Today, TMZ is reporting that Howe took his own life, according to police who found his body.

A spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Dept. tells TMZ that Mike’s official cause of death was determined to be asphyxia due to hanging. Officially, authorities are calling it a suicide.

Says TMZ: “As we reported, cops got the call Monday just after 10 AM in Eureka, CA for a report of an unexpected death at a home. When deputies arrived at the scene, we’re told they found Mike dead. The Sheriff’s Dept. also told us alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the 55-year-old singer’s death, and no controlled substances or paraphernalia were found in the home where he died.”

Mike Howe was the singer of Metal Church from 1988 – 1996, and again from 2015 – 2021. Howe made his Metal Church debut on Blessing In Disguise, and his final work with the band was Damned If You Do.
