Ατμοσφαιρικό και μελωδικό, πασπαλισμένο με ανατολίτικα στοιχεία και με ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα είναι το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ των MERCURY CIRCLE. Μετά το EP The Dawn Of Vitriol (2020), οι MERCURY CIRCLE κυκλοφορούν το Killing Moons, μέσω της Noble Demon !
Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2018 από τον Jaani Peuhu των ICONCRASH’s και SWALLOW THE SUN και με μέλη των CHILDREN OF BODOM, SLEEP OF MONSTERS κ.ά. Άγρια στην έκφραση και την ηχητική αισθητική, τα τραγούδια του Killing Moons είναι ένα βαθύ και μαγευτικό ταξίδι στη μουσική – που αντιπροσωπεύει πραγματικά ένα δικό του είδος. Με αργούς ατμοσφαιρικούς ρυθμούς και μια ατμόσφαιρα που μοιάζει ανεμοδαρμένη από ανατολίτικους ανέμους αυτό το άλμπουμ παρουσιάζεται πολύ ιδιαίτερο και ξεχωριστό. Με αφετηρία από τα συγκροτήματα που προέρχονται τα μέλη του συγκροτήματός και προορισμό εντελώς ξεχωριστό. Η Noble Demon χαρακτηρίζει τον ήχο τους dark rock, gothic rock, ambient, synthwave/electronic, doom. Εγώ θα έλεγα απλά ότι είναι ένα spiced μείγμα επιρροών που γαργαλάει τα μουσικά μας ερεθίσματα με ένα εντελώς ξεχωριστό τρόπο και σε απάτητα μονοπάτια. Εάν είστε από αυτούς που τους αρέσει να δοκιμάζουν καινούρια ακούσματα θα σας το πρότεινα ανεπιφύλακτα.

Born as a brainchild in 2018 by ICONCRASH‘s and SWALLOW THE SUN’s Jaani Peuhu, and featuring members of CHILDREN OF BODOM, SLEEP OF MONSTERS & more, MERCURY CIRCLE create a diverse blend of dark rock infused with electrifying synth wave and slow, epic doom. On their debut album MERCURY CIRCLE unleash ten enthralling tracks, which differ wildly in expression and sonic aesthetics. Killing Moons is a deeply powerful and majestic piece of music – truly representing a genre of its own – and one that will take the listener on an all-absorbing trip into yet unimaginable spheres.
